Pedal The Plains Bike Event-Sponsors 4-H and FFA

4-H members and volunteers helped provide assistance with the Pedal The Plains Bike Tour on the Eastern Plains of Colorado September 14-16. Over 700 cyclists completed the three day tour from Kiowa to Bennett, to Limon, and finishing back in Kiowa on Sunday.  Pedal The Plains is an initiative out of the Governor’s Office to promote Eastern Colorado small towns and help cyclists learn more about agriculture and it’s impact in the state. The Denver Post Foundation helps run the tour and provides grant support to both the state 4-H and FFA Foundations.  To learn more about the event and to see highlights of the 2018 tour go to the Pedal The Plains website.
